Land's sakes! Way to make a point. Gotta admit it makes me squirm a bit to witness such a sound and public spanking... even if it was well deserved. LOL. And it's a good point, too. Personally, I'm so intensely introverted I struggle with interacting and schmoozing even online... not because I don't want to, or am not interested in community, merely because irl I'm that person who stands in a corner and hopes-to-goodness there's a dog to pet or an extrovert to take pity on me. Bahaha! And now I better scurry off and brush up my profile because I'm feeling called out. ;)

Oooh wow, I am embarrassed for that person. I learned a long time ago that as soon as you open your mouth about religion, politics, etc, you lose half your audience. My brand is Fun, Fantastic Escapes, and I want everybody to be able to enjoy them without going "oh, not HER, she's an asshole".

There's definitely something to be said for that. I will add though, that South Park has longevity and they're still culturally relevant after so very long because they fairly call out all sides in favor of what's funny and/or absurd. As an absurdist and comedy writer, that's the gold standard of being able to engage in the social commentary. The only risk you really have is alienating people who wouldn't be your audience anyway!

Our friend is hilariouslly and authenticly insecure. Between myself, JL, Nick, and Reggie you have professional fighters and champion athletes in your audiance. Its so hilariously off the mark.

The delusional chihuahua behavior, all bark and no bite force, on this particular topic is so ironic it brings me to belly aches.

The whole "community of one" branding is the social media equivilant of crying on the shower floor. Endless obsession with power dynamics from feeling small all the time and uncle Ricky beating thier ass too much. "Nobody cares, everyones some form of ist, and I've faced them all. You're weak, i

I'm a strong loner. I make my own rules. Weak and effimeinate is your brand." Said with all the warbly conviction of a beaten child.

I'd keep it to myself if it hadn't been offered willingly to a good man in service of others.

My biggest hope is that this person isn't as paper thin and full of spiderweb cracks as they show.

I wasn't actually fishing for any kind of compliment, there. Just clowning.

Hope you're well, my friend.

I would like to go into a lengthy discussion of what my brand is, but unfortunately -and ironically- I am currently being called back to sit in that dentist chair you mentioned so… I’ll have to get back to you on that. 😂 But boiled down to its core essence, I’d say my brand is “fun”. I like to have fun. I like to make other people have fun. If I can accomplish that, then I’m satisfied with my work. My dentist is not having fun at the moment though because I’m making her wait so until next time my friend. ✌🏼

Honestly, so much of "brand management" boils down to simply...be likeable. That doesn't mean be inauthentic, or don't disagree with anyone, or change who you are, or any of that nonsense. Just be the person that you'd want to hang out with on your porch sharing beverages.

I like "sharing beverages on a porch" as a litmus test!
